Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH) is a 30-bed community hospital providing high quality health care services to residents and visitors of Nelson and the surrounding area of approximately 28,000 people.
KLH has the busiest maternity services in the region with a very active integrated maternal/child health program including obstetric/gynecology and pediatric specialist support. In addition, KLH offers specialty clinics such as Healthy Heart, diabetes education, oncology and liver clinics as well as cardiac lab with stress testing, echocardiography and Holter monitoring. PRACTICE DETAILSFantastic opportunity for a General Internist to join the Internal Medicine department at Kootenay Lake Hospital. Working collaboratively with two existing General Internists, Nelson offers an ideal setting for the candidate with a broad interest in general internal medicine, paired with confidence in inpatient and emergency room consultations and procedures.
