Please note: we have two complimentary lift passes per day at both Whitewater and Red, available on a first-come, first-served basis for physicians interested in exploring a locum or permanent move to Kootenay Boundary.
Nelson: With mother nature blanketing Whitewater resort in over 12 meters (40 feet) of snow annually, there are no snowmaking machines to be found - but you will find 623 metres (2044 feet) of steeps, deeps, chutes, bowls, and some of the best-glade skiing on the planet at your feet. Whether you're new to the slopes or a seasoned pro, Whitewater has an abundance of stellar terrain options for every skier and rider.
Rossland: At RED Mountain Resort, you can stay a snowball’s throw from the lift at a clean, modern hostel or kick back at a slope-side condo or in a boutique hotel. We’re bad at math but proud of our numbers: nearly 3,000 ft of vertical drop; 300-inches of snowfall; $10/run in-bounds cat-skiing; and 5, count ‘em 5, ski-able peaks. We have famous tree runs, pristine powder, glorious groomers, Ikon Pass access, and the only snowbound taco truck in Canada!
